IRB Sevens World Cup - Kenya goes for Glory

Kenya’s Virgin Atlantic sponsored Rugby Sevens team is currently in Dubai for the fifth IRB Sevens World Cup. The three day tournament brings together the best 24 teams in the world, all out to claim the title of World champion.

Kenya will battle it out against England, Tunisia and Hong Kong in the group stage with high hopes of advancing to the quarter finals and a chance at the final. Kenya is currently ranked sixth in the IRB Sevens overall rankings.

The Kenya Rugby Sevens team has indeed brought great pride and joy to the country following their remarkable performance in the IRB Sevens circuit. The team continues to inspire and electrify fans around the globe with each passing game.
