Kenya Railway Golf Club is bisected by the railway. This can be disconcerting, especially when trains are coming through. The course has a very different layout. It sports nine holes with eighteen tees and ten greens.
Two of the nine holes run parallel with the highway, which plays havoc
with your concentration. Four of the holes are situated on a hillside
and the other five holes play almost flat. There are no bunkers after
the last crossing of the railway line.
Trees are well placed and come into play on just about every hole,
thereby making it a tight course. Hole number seven, eight and nine are
bunkers free. The green is two tiered. However, each tier is fairly flat
and the putting surface is true to its line
